[esp] Joyería experimental en plata basada en la recolección y uso de materia orgánica como elemento portátil, convirtiéndose y determinando su forma. Material: fragmentos de liquen (Usnea Barbata) recolectados en la Patagonia Chilena. Hongo que vive en estrecha simbiosis con una microalga verde, la que en su condición de productora o fotosintetizadora, impulsa el crecimiento y desarrollo del hongo. Convirtiéndose en una nueva planta, morfológicamente diferente de un alga o un hongo y con una gran plasticidad ecológica, implica un concepto de supervivencia mutua, integrando materia y energía a un gran número de hábitats diferentes. La simbiosis es posiblemente la relación más importante que se da entre los seres vivos, capaz de describir vínculos recíprocos que superan nuestra comprensión de la microcomunicación.

[eng] Experimental silver jewellery based on the collection and use of organic matter as a portable element, becoming and determining its form. Material: lichen fragments (Usnea Barbata) recollected in the Chilean Patagonia. A fungi that lives in close symbiosis with a green microalgae, which in its condition of producer or photosynthesizer, drives the growth and development of the fungus. Becoming a new plant, morphologically different from an alga or a fungus and with a great ecological plasticity, it involves a concept of mutual survival, integrating matter and energy to a vast number of different habitats. Symbiosis is possibly the most important relationship that occurs between living beings, capable of describing reciprocal links that exceed our understanding of micro-communication.
